It isn't just a slogan. It's how we feel and the reason we do what we do.

We discovered that there are many (way too many!) sunscreens on the market that claim to be 'reef safe' or 'reef friendly' yet contain many chemicals known to be harmful to marine life. Unfortunately, when it comes to reef safe sunscreens there are no laws, regulations, or international standards intended to protect the consumer from false marketing.
We’ve made it our mission to develop a sunscreen that is completely harmless to the marine environment and we are constantly striving to source more eco-friendly packaging. Our promise is that, unlike some of our competitors, we will never sell a product that contains chemicals known to be harmful to the marine eco-system.

Designed and formulated to be a truly non-toxic sunscreen that does no harm to the marine environment, Coral Sure was in the development and testing phase for a long time before we felt we had it just right.

Your sunscreen should ​provide you the highest standard of skin protection from the sun's harmful UV rays but at the same time should feel comfortable on the skin. We have made a moisturizing mineral sunscreen that is non-whitening and non-greasy, that is good for you and the planet.

Our sunscreen is manufactured in sunny southern California in a factory powered entirely from solar power.

We are surfers, scuba-divers, snorkelers, swimmers and outdoor enthusiasts who worship the sun but really care about, and want to protect, the oceans and marine environment which brings us so much joy.

Through partnering with non-profit organizations, and donating a portion of our sales to help fund their projects, we hope to make a direct impact in the fight to protect our planet and preserve our natural resources.
